Buckeyes

I made Buckeyes for us Sunday night. They turned out pretty good and I thought I would share the recipe.

1 stick of margarine-softened
1 cup of peanut butter
16 oz. of confectioners sugar
1/2 cup of graham cracker crumbs
(graham cracker crumbs are an option I like because it adds something besides sugar and butters)

Mix these four things together. Roll into balls and refrigerate. While the balls are chilling, melt some chocolate. I used 'Almond bark' , but you can use chocolate chips, too.
I only used enough to fill a regular size soup bowl and melted it in the microwave for about a minute.
Then, use something like a toothpick to hold the peanut butter ball and dip into chocolate. Place on a plate covered with wax paper, or tin foil. Then, place in refrigerator to harden the chocolate. After a few minutes they're ready to eat!

Happy Birthday, Kathy Joy!

For your birthday, I'm taking you back to Life before it got complicated.

"Kathy Joy Posey,
you're going to Disney World!!"

That's right!

A place where you can hug total strangers and not ask any questions.

A place where all you have to do is to know how to ask where the bathrooms are in more than one language.

A place where Snow White finds her Dwarfs and a handsome Prince.

A place where a girl can just hang out at Minnie Mouses' house.

A place where a couple can see the world in just a few square blocks.

A place where all your wishes can come true.
Have a Very Happy Birthday, We love you Much!!

Jessi leaving for school

Bright and early Saturday morning, Jessi left to go back to Montevallo. She got up around 6am and got all ready. It took a while to get the cars all warmed up, since it was still below freezing outside.

Rickey and I decided to follow her down Hwy 36 to make sure the snow and ice was all gone. There were only a couple of snowy spots left and not much ice, but like they say, "knowing that she was safe- priceless."

"JJ, we all love you and wish you good health, complete safety, and a high grade point average. Be sweet!!"

ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

January 7, 2010, Alabama won their 13th National Championship title. The final score was 37-21.

Colt McCoy was injured in the first quarter and couldn't play. Who knows what would have happened if he did play the whole game. I say Alabama would still have won.

Of course, the Defense would have to dig deep down and win it for us; as usual.

Reguardless  if the Media ever gives Alabama the respect it deserves, we ARE the NO. 1  college football team in the nation. I watched Alabama beat Flordia in the SEC championship, as well as, Texas against Nebraska and without a doubt Alabama would have beat Texas. It wouldn't have been pretty, but true champions always come out on top : )
