Going back to work

Okay, it's time to go back to work. I have enjoyed watching Lily Ann for over 2 years now and I will miss her so much. I'm thankful to have a husband who allowed me to stay home and keep her. We both wanted her to be taken care of either by her mom or grandmother, so it worked out for me to stay home with her. Now that's she a "big girl" , we feel pretty good about leaving her at preschool. She will learn a lot of social skills, some good and (I know) some bad, but overall, she's at a good age to go. She is talking and saying just about everything now very well. If someone hurts her, we will know. To what degree, well that's another thing.

Here are pictures of what I will miss most:

A warm sleeping baby in my bed. So precious! I love her much!!

Mother's Day 2010

Here's me and my girls on Mother's Day right after church and dinner. Richie had came up on Saturday to visit with me so he could spend Mother's Day making Kathy feel special for being the mother of his precious daughter. And I think that's great, as a matter of fact, I suggested it. Sons are different from daughters in that respect; especially, if they live far away. Anyway, we had a good church service, but before worship service, the church recognized the youngest mother, the oldest mother, and the one with the most children with them that day. I normally get the most children corsage because all of my children make a point to be there. However, since I knew Richie wouldn't be there, and Kellye has had sinus issues lately, and Jessi hates being at home, I wasn't so sure this year. But most of the ladies at my church are younger and they only have two kids. So the three was enough for the honor.
I love flowers, so a corsage of pink carnations is very nice to receive.

We took this picture out by the pond and the wisteria. Kellye Beth immediately started sneezing and had to hurry and get away from the plant. I'm glad I don't have allergies. I love to smell my flowers.
We went inside to take more pictures:
I love my girls! But it makes me miss Richie that much more, and I forgot to take any pictures with him on  Saturday:(

You know I can't leave him out when we're talking about Mother's Day.
He's the one who started it many, many years ago. Back then, I received the corsage for the youngest mother since I was 21.
I think Kathy had a nice Mother's Day this year, too. How could you not with a precious baby like Lorelei?

And of course, I can't leave Lily Ann out. She's been like my baby for over 2 years now. I plan on going back to work at BioImaging on June 1st. It will be an adjustment to make for all of us. My prayer is that God will give us all the grace we need to accomplish what has to be. I'm thankful that Rickey was able to support the family while I stayed at home to make sure she was well cared for. I will always cherish my the time  spent with her.
Until later, Theresa
Aka: Momma, MawMaw T, Aunt Theresa, and hey you!

Update

Ok, now next week is the finale for Vampire Diaries.
We now know that John Gilbert is Elena's dad, Isobel is very much heartless, and Damon is in love with Elena; but, we still don't know why Elena looks like Katherine.
Also, Bonnie is not going to "just get over it."
And how about Anna; what is she gonna do now?

The last episode of Diaries

Ok, tonight is the last episode of The Vampire Diaries for this season. There are so many un-answered questions for it to end now.
Like . . .

Why has Isobel finally come to Mystic Falls? . . . What trouble will she make?  . . . and Who is Elena's Dad?

Why does Elena look so much like Katherine if Isobel is her mom? . . .

And will Stefan be able to resist and stay on "bunny rabbit" blood?

And will Caroline ever be happy?. . . and will Bonnie "just get over it?"

Are there really "werewolves" in this story ? . . .

And last, but not least important,

Why do all the "bad boy vampires" have to be so good looking? ? ?

Jessi and her hair

Yes, Jessi came home this past weekend with "orange" hair.
She was okay with it since she had time to get use to it.
The rest of us didn't care for it very much,  so . . .
I went to Walmart and got 2 bottles of Natural Medium Brown and got it back closer to her natural color.
I think she was humoring me while she was home, and she will probably re-color it again when she gets back to school. Which by the way, today is her last day of class for the school year. She plans on staying down there for the summer and renting a house off campus with 3 other girls. We wanted her to come home and stay for the summer, but she has a 'stubborn streak' like her mom.
Sorry, I don't have a picture of the updated color. I forgot to take one. Hopefully, it will still be brown when she comes home this weekend for Mother's Day:)
