Good bye blog

I've decided that since I've gone back to work, I don't have as much time to blog as I would like. So I'm ending this blog, but will try to update Lily's world when I can.
The title says, " you never know what you will get." Well, with me, that's not true. After 50 years of living, you pretty much know what you will get from me. If not let me remind you . . .

I am an American by birth, a Christian by choice, and Southern by the grace of God.
The God head trinity is number one in my life. God, the Father in all of His supreme Glory; Christ, the Son, my Lord and Savior; The Holy Ghost, leading and  guiding me through this world.

Second, would be my wonderful family that God has so richly blessed me with. Rickey, my high school sweetheart and husband of 32 years.

Richie, the best son a mother could ask for. . .

Ginny, a daughter who mirrors her mom
in many ways . . .

Jessi, a daughter that I can live my dreams through. . .

And Kellye, a daughter who is very loving and giving.

My children are the biggest blessing in my life. Then, of course, Darren and Kathy were added and made our big family even bigger. Then came Lily Ann and Lorelei!!

Not only is my immediate family a blessing, but all of my family; and there are many and you know who you are :)

I enjoy nature and all that goes with it. I love music and singing; most all, except Heavy Metal noise and Rap. I enjoy TV and Movies; usually romatic comedies and musicals.
I am an Alabama fan - Roll Tide!
I like figuring out stuff that is puzzling to other people; whether, it's an actual puzzle to work, or a mystery to solve.
I am currently enjoying my new job and the challenge that it gives me.
I am excited about the twilight series of movies that are out and coming.
I have been working on a cookbook by the ladies of our church, in which I have typed 385 recipes to date.
I cherish my time with LilyAnn and Lorelei. They will grow up fast.
I look forward to Kellye Beth graduating and Jessi getting married (?)And yes, Christopher is back in our family, yea!
I can't leave out my sweet puppy, Tillie. And Millie and Belle:)
I enjoy The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter movies, and Jane Austin novel movies.
Sleeping in on a rainy day; Stalking my children on facebook; Collecting clocks.
I love pizza, especially, Papa John's.
I love chocolate; in any form.
Live, Love, Laugh is my moto.
and I could go on and on, but this blog is to say good bye, not begin my whole life's story. So see you later, au revior, ta ta, aloha, later-gator, so long, good day, Auf wiedersehen, until then, Viszlát, shalom, see ya, The End

It's here!

Tonight - 7:30PM- I can't wait. Kellye Beth went down and spent the night with Jessi Monday night, so they could get up and watch Eclipse at 6:30AM at a special viewing by the employees of the theater where JJ works. They both said it was the best movie, yet! It just ended to quickly.

Only 8 more days until the "Eclipse" movie comes out. We've got tickets to the 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 30th. I can hardly wait to go. I know it's gonna be a good movie.

Team Edward all the way!

The Tree Houses

The first treehouse at the botanical gardens was shaped like a flowerpot. We didn't go in it, because there were people there and we just went on.

The second one was funny shaped and had the swings . . .

and the suspension rope hand rails.

This one was really high up, so we didn't go up in it.

It also had a swing made for wheelchairs to ride on.

This one was half way through the gardens beside the restrooms and soda machine.

It had a sandbox floor and a slide outside the window.

The last one we went to was the 'Wizard of Oz' one.

It had the flying monkey  . . .

the witch's feet with the ruby slippers . . .
(this scared LilyAnn. She thought it was a real person stuck under there)
and the yellow brick road.
It was nice to see the tree house exhibit. It's good for the kids who get bored with flowers and plants; however, I could stay there all day and not to get enough.

Tomatoes~

I bought one pot of tomatoes and split it into three.

All three are covered with small tomatoes.

My first red tomato was big enough for a hamburger.

Nothing like homegrown tomatoes!

Going back to work

Okay, it's time to go back to work. I have enjoyed watching Lily Ann for over 2 years now and I will miss her so much. I'm thankful to have a husband who allowed me to stay home and keep her. We both wanted her to be taken care of either by her mom or grandmother, so it worked out for me to stay home with her. Now that's she a "big girl" , we feel pretty good about leaving her at preschool. She will learn a lot of social skills, some good and (I know) some bad, but overall, she's at a good age to go. She is talking and saying just about everything now very well. If someone hurts her, we will know. To what degree, well that's another thing.

Here are pictures of what I will miss most:

A warm sleeping baby in my bed. So precious! I love her much!!

Mother's Day 2010

Here's me and my girls on Mother's Day right after church and dinner. Richie had came up on Saturday to visit with me so he could spend Mother's Day making Kathy feel special for being the mother of his precious daughter. And I think that's great, as a matter of fact, I suggested it. Sons are different from daughters in that respect; especially, if they live far away. Anyway, we had a good church service, but before worship service, the church recognized the youngest mother, the oldest mother, and the one with the most children with them that day. I normally get the most children corsage because all of my children make a point to be there. However, since I knew Richie wouldn't be there, and Kellye has had sinus issues lately, and Jessi hates being at home, I wasn't so sure this year. But most of the ladies at my church are younger and they only have two kids. So the three was enough for the honor.
I love flowers, so a corsage of pink carnations is very nice to receive.

We took this picture out by the pond and the wisteria. Kellye Beth immediately started sneezing and had to hurry and get away from the plant. I'm glad I don't have allergies. I love to smell my flowers.
We went inside to take more pictures:
I love my girls! But it makes me miss Richie that much more, and I forgot to take any pictures with him on  Saturday:(

You know I can't leave him out when we're talking about Mother's Day.
He's the one who started it many, many years ago. Back then, I received the corsage for the youngest mother since I was 21.
I think Kathy had a nice Mother's Day this year, too. How could you not with a precious baby like Lorelei?

And of course, I can't leave Lily Ann out. She's been like my baby for over 2 years now. I plan on going back to work at BioImaging on June 1st. It will be an adjustment to make for all of us. My prayer is that God will give us all the grace we need to accomplish what has to be. I'm thankful that Rickey was able to support the family while I stayed at home to make sure she was well cared for. I will always cherish my the time  spent with her.
Until later, Theresa
Aka: Momma, MawMaw T, Aunt Theresa, and hey you!

Update

Ok, now next week is the finale for Vampire Diaries.
We now know that John Gilbert is Elena's dad, Isobel is very much heartless, and Damon is in love with Elena; but, we still don't know why Elena looks like Katherine.
Also, Bonnie is not going to "just get over it."
And how about Anna; what is she gonna do now?
